Brown-red Aliphatic Superplasticizer Powder
Brown-red Aliphatic Superplasticizer Powder

Aliphatic Superplasticizer Powder

Aliphatic Superplasticizer Powder (BAS) is an eco-friendly concrete admixture synthesized from sulfonated acetone. Providing 15%-25% water reduction and rapid early strength, its powder form ensures an extended shelf life and lower shipping costs. It is ideal for fluid concrete, steam-cured precast components, and high-durability engineering projects.

Product Description

Appearance:

Brown-red or light yellow powder.

Specifications:

Item Technical Standard
Solid Content (%) >94
Active Matter Content (%) ≥90
Moisture (%) ≤7
Water Insoluble Matter (%) ≤3
pH Value (10% aqueous solution) 9-10

Applications:

Concrete Projects: Suitable for fluid, plasticized, steam-cured, waterproof, and reinforced or prestressed concrete.

Construction Types: Ideal for marine structures and complex engineering projects requiring high durability against freeze-thaw cycles and sulfate attack.

Performance: Offers 15%-25% water reduction, exceptional slump retention, and rapid early strength development, while remaining non-toxic and non-corrosive to steel reinforcement.

Usage Instructions:

Preparation: It is generally recommended to dissolve the powder into a 30% – 35% concentration liquid solution before use. The optimal dosage should be determined through trial mixes (the recommended dosage for the liquid solution is 1.5% – 2%).

Mixing Method: The admixture can be added into the concrete along with the mixing water, or via the post-addition method. If post-added, the concrete mixing time should be extended by 30 seconds.

Application Note: Due to the high water-reducing rate, a layer of yellow slurry may bleed onto the surface before the concrete’s initial setting. This is a normal phenomenon and will not affect the internal or surface performance. The color will naturally fade after surface finishing, strength development, or standard water curing.

Packaging & Storage

Standard Packaging: 25KG / Bag (PP woven bag with an inner PE liner)

Custom Service: Customized packaging is available upon request.

Storage Recommendations: Store in a dry, well-ventilated environment at temperatures between -20°C and 40°C. Strictly protect from direct sunlight exposure. The shelf life is 12 months.
