Applications:

Concrete Admixture Industry: Functions as an efficient reducing agent and auxiliary stabilizer during the polymerization of Polycarboxylate Ether (PCE) superplasticizers. It helps regulate molecular weight distribution, preventing over-oxidation of monomers and ensuring consistent water-reducing performance.

Water Treatment: Widely utilized as an oxygen scavenger and dechlorination agent in industrial boilers and water treatment systems to prevent oxidative corrosion of piping and equipment.

Pulp & Paper Industry: Serves as a bleaching agent and an essential chemical in the semi-chemical pulping process to remove lignin and improve paper strength.

Textile & Leather Industry: Applied as an antichlor to eliminate residual chlorine after bleaching, and as a reducing agent in dyeing, printing, and leather tanning processes to stabilize colors.

Chemical & Photography: Used as an intermediate in chemical manufacturing and as a preservative in photographic developing solutions to prevent the oxidation of developer agents.

Safety & Handling:

Precautions: Avoid breathing dust. In contact with acids, it liberates toxic sulfur dioxide gas. Ensure adequate ventilation and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including protective gloves, dust masks, and safety glasses during handling.

Packaging & Storage:

Standard Packaging: 25kg PP woven bags with PE inner liner, or 1000kg Jumbo bags.

Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse.

Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat sources.

Must be stored strictly apart from strong acids and oxidizing agents.

Ensure bags are tightly sealed, as exposure to air will gradually oxidize the product into sodium sulfate .

Shelf Life: 12 months (under tightly sealed and dry conditions).
